Messier 57, or the Ring Nebula, is a planetary nebula 2000 light years away in the constellation of Lyra. It is the glowing remains of a sun-like star. The tiny dot in the centre is the core which is now a white dwarf.
This is only 48 minutes total as I had to jump at a gap in the clouds.
