NGC6960 Redux

It's got to be said that of late I have been struggling to get a proper colour balance in my photos, but a key step highlighted by AstroStace (https://www.astrostace.com/) on her YouTube channel has sorted me out.
It was all to do with the initial levels and pulling the grey point slider (middle) across to the left to meet the right-hand side of the data. In preview it looks crap, but after merge-down and an Auto-colour adjustment, all is well with the world!

I don't know why this has eluded me for so long. My images to date are not too bad but I have had to really work to get the results. This initial stage really does ease the pain for the later processing steps.

Clear skies.
